FAQ

Can we submit as a team?

Yes. However, if a team is shortlisted, only one representative of the team will be invited to Insurance Europe’s International Conference in Brussels, Belgium.

Do you accept vertical videos?

No, we accept horizontal (16:9) only, as it plays best on large screens.

Do I need professional filming equipment?

Not at all! A smartphone filmed in horizontal (16:9) format is perfectly fine. What matters most is clarity, originality, and good audio.

Can my video be shorter than 2 minutes?

Yes, shorter videos are also welcome: a strong 60 second video can work just as well.

Can I use animations or drawings?

You can use your own, original drawings or animations, as long as you created them yourself. AI generated or stock animations are not allowed.

May we reuse our video after the competition?

Of course, you keep ownership!

Please note that Insurance Europe may be using your video in its future financial literacy initiatives – unless you expressed otherwise (see Terms of Use and Privacy Statement).

Will my video be used publicly?

Yes, by participating, you agree that your video may be used at Insurance Europe’s International Conference – which is a public event. You can however decide whether you want to restrict your videos use to the event or to expand it to additional Insurance Europe and EYP communications. This is described in the Terms of Use and Privacy Statement.

What if I cannot travel to Brussels?

If a finalist cannot attend, a virtual introduction or alternative arrangement could be discussed, although the in person experience will be prioritised.

Can I withdraw my entry after submitting it?

Yes, as long as it’s before the submission deadline. If so, please inform Diane Lebreton [[email protected]] and Saskia van Berloo [[email protected]] with the name of your video. After the submission deadline on Thursday 30 April 2026, entries are locked for the pre-selection process.

Will I get feedback on my video?

Due to the volume of submissions, individual feedback cannot be guaranteed – we are sorry!
