Insurance Europe has today published an insight briefing about the need for effective action to be taken to tackle climate change.
The insight briefing explains insurers’ concerns regarding the continuing global increase in temperature and, consequently, extreme weather events, which could make it increasingly difficult to offer affordable financial protection in the future.
The briefing also outlines how insurers engage in climate change efforts and stresses the need for immediate action by public authorities.
