Cover Notes: "Take two": a conversation with Markus Ferber MEP, rapporteur for the review of the Solvency II Directive

As the Solvency II review moves into a crucial phase, Markus Ferber, European Parliament rapporteur for Solvency II and the Insurance Recovery and Resolution Directive, and Insurance Europe director general Michaela Koller reflect on what policymakers must do to ensure the review facilitates more long-term investment and the EU’s move to sustainability, while maintaining high levels of policyholder protection.
