Registrations open for special conference on 2018 Solvency II review

Insurance Europe has launched registrations for a special one day event titled “Solvency II: Two years on and two reviews”, that will discuss key issues relating to the upcoming review of the regulatory framework.

Attendees will hear from a wide range of policymakers and industry representatives. Confirmed speakers and panellists include:

  • Vice-President Valdis Dombrovskis, European Commission
  • Burkhard Balz MEP
  • Nathalie Berger, head, insurance & pensions unit, DG FISMA, European Commission
  • Alberto Corinti, member of the board, IVASS, Italy
  • Frank Grund, chief executive director of insurance & pension funds supervision, BaFin, Germany
  • Luigi Lubelli, group CFO, Generali, Italy
  • Olav Jones, deputy director general, Insurance Europe

The event, on 26 June, begins at 11h00 and will take place at Microsoft's offices at 51 rue Montoyer, Brussels. Technical presentations and discussions in the morning session will be followed by an afternoon of keynote speeches and debate on the political considerations. The event will close with a networking cocktail until 18h30.
